Welcome to the Pacific Palisades Baseball Association (PPBA) online registration system
Please read the following before proceeding:
1. Registration and Fees
Registrations must be completed by December 31, 2019 or you will be assessed a $25.00 non-refundable late fee per player.
Any players registering after January 30, 2020 will be put on a wait list.
IMPORTANT: Any registration without an accompanying online payment is NOT considered a completed registration.
The PPBA board would like every child to have the opportunity to play baseball in our league. However, due to field limitations, time constraints and players safety concerns, some players who register may not be placed on a team. If your child is not placed on a team, you will be given a full refund, less any late charge.
The basic registration fee is $400.00 per player. The basic fee includes and covers a uniform (jersey and pants), basic photo package, trophy, insurance, field maintenance, umpire costs, and team equipment.
Each player is also required to buy 20 tickets to the Opening Day Pancake Breakfast for $100.00 that they can sell or give away. Proceeds from all Pancake Breakfast tickets sold go to the Field of Dreams Fund for upkeep of the fields.
There is a discount for sibling registrations. The basic registration fee is $350.00 for the second child, $325.00 for the third, and $300.00 for the fourth.
Total fees payable upon registration (inclusive of Pancake Breakfast ticket costs) are $500.00 per player (less any sibling discounts).
The registration fee (and amounts for tickets) will be refunded only if your child is not placed on a team. If your child is placed on a team, there will be no refunds unless the child withdraws for a legitimate medical reason.
2. Playing Requirements
Any player who fails to attend 2/3 of his team’s regular-season games, for any reason other than injury or illness, shall not be considered eligible for the PPBA playoffs or any post-season all-star teams. Exceptions will be considered by the PPBA Commissioner and/or the PPBA Board on a case-by-case basis.
Players registered to play in PPBA are not prohibited from playing club baseball. However, they shall not play any games for a club team during the PPBA playoffs or miss any regular season PPBA games to play with their club baseball team. Any player found to be in violation of this rule will be deemed ineligible for the PPBA playoffs and post-season all-star teams.
3. Registration Instructions
Step 1: Begin Registration
Step 2: Returning users must Sign In (or retrieve your password). New users should follow the instructions on the screen to create a new account.
Step 3: Returning users should review and update the Guardian Information from last year’s registration. New users will be required to enter basic information to create Guardian account(s). IMPORTANT NOTE: Please include information for both guardians if possible.
Step 4: Returning users should click on each returning child’s name, review the information, and then begin the registration process by hitting Submit at the bottom of the Participant Information screen. New users or returning users with new children should select Add Child, enter the new child’s information, and then hit Submit to continue with the registration process. Note: if the button is grey and reads "Ineligible", that individual does not qualify for registration. Click the button for an explanation of the reason for ineligibility.
Step 5: You must complete the Supplemental Information page for all returning and new players and agree to comply with the agreements made available on this page.
Step 6: You can either Pay Now or register another child (if applicable). You MUST pay by credit card at the time of registration. Once you pay, you are done and will receive a confirmation email.
